Who this site is for
Households and small businesses in the UK who want to understand broadband before they compare or switch. If you’re unsure what speed you need, how switching works, what full fibre means, or where to get a reliable speed test, we’re here to explain and point you to the right next step.
What we do
Broadband Insights publishes guides, explainers, and short insights on UK broadband: speed, full fibre, switching, social tariffs, Wi‑Fi, and business connectivity. We don’t sell broadband. We explain how it works and point you to free, specialist tools in the SearchSwitchSave network when you’re ready to compare, test, or switch.
Our role in the network
We’re part of the SearchSwitchSave network, which runs comparison, speed-test, and mapping tools on separate sites. Broadband Insights is the insight and trust layer: we add context and guidance so that when you use a network site to compare deals or run a speed test, you do so with a clearer picture. We don’t duplicate those tools here—we route you to them with clear explanation.
